this week our wine flights hail from france, known to some as the motherland of wine and a benchmark of their excellence. one reason french wines are so good is because they’ve been making and perfecting them for such a long time - since the 6th century bc! this has given vintners a good stretch of time to develop their wine-making techniques and perfect the utilization of their terroir. with this week’s flights we give you a sampling of what many would say is the greatest wine country in the world.
