Teresa is a rising chef who has led several culinary teams to rave food reviews in Los Angeles and New York City. Her most recent success, Ración, received glowing reviews from LA Weekly Food Editor Besha Rodell, LA Times Food Critic Jonathan Gold, Chicago Tribune Food Critic S. Irene Virbila, and LA Times' Amy Scattergood who writes that what Ración offers is “some of the best food in Los Angeles.” Ración is the only restaurant in Pasadena to have been named three years running to both the LA Times 101 Best Restaurants and LA Weekly’s Essential 99 lists. Additionally, it has been highlighted in Los Angeles Magazine’s Top 75 Restaurants as well as S. Pellegrino / Diner’s Club: The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Discovery Series - Global Selection lists. Teresa recently returned from a tour of Europe, which included research in Barcelona and Valencia, Spain and pop up concepts in Puglia, Italy, full of new ideas for the Angeleno gastronomy. With her roots in the organic food industry and formative time at local organic farms and Tender Greens, Teresa believes in responsible, sustainable sourcing and fair, progressive business practices. As a young female Chef, Teresa strives to build teams and work environments where learning, respect, equality, and teamwork are at the forefront.
